Caldera Resources Inc. has organized the visit of Mr. Ricardo Valls, the independent expert - geologist to Armenia to get samples from different properties for the following scientific studies at Toronto's University.

Dr. Vahram Nercissiantz, the Chief Economic Advisor to the President of Armenia visited Canada in November 2009 (23-28). He had important meetings with members of the ACCC in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. The following companies participated in meetings with Dr. Nercissiantz and members of the ACCC: Montreal: SNC-Lavalin, Hydro-Quebec, Caldera Resources Inc., Novo Power Inc., Heenan Blaikie and Miller and Khassam Law Firms, Canadian Armenia Business Councel; Ottawa - Export Development Corporation; Toronto: BacTech Mining Corporation, Davis Law Firm, TerraNova Partners, Advanced Explorations Inc., Salman Partners Inc., Pinetree Capital Ltd., Public Company Services Inc., ASA Alloys Inc., Redline Communications, Mining Insights, All Armenia Fund. Based on the discussions and recommendations expressed during these meetings we have decided to organize a Trade Mission of Canadian entities and organizations to Armenia. MONTREAL, QUEBEC, October 20, 2009. Caldera Resources Inc. (TSX.V: CDR) announced today that the Ministry of Energy of Mines of the Republic of Armenia, has issued an Order granting Caldera’s subsidiary, Biomine LLC, permission to access the Lichkvaz-Tey gold project, to conduct its sampling campaign and due diligence review.

 

This order follows the permission received from the Minister of the Environment of Armenia, earlier this month; all with the goal to successfully introduce commercially proven bioleaching technology for the recovery of gold and copper to Armenia.

The ACCC signed discount contracts with major hotels and appartment service Agency in Yerevan. All members of the ACCC and their families can book the participating hotels in Yerevan (Mariotte-Armenia, Ani, Congress, GoldenTulip, Europe and appartements for the better rate.

 

The Canadian Medical Center has been established in Yerevan in partnership with "Genetica" Institute of Armenia. Canadian doctors are welcomed to partnership.

 

The International Informatization Academy, the NGO in General Consultative Status with UN established its branch in Yerevan. Dr. Anahit Harutyunyan, had been appointed as Director of the Branch.

Last year Prof. Azat Vartanian, the Chairman of the ACCC and members of his delegations had meetings with Hon. S. Sargsyan, the President of Armenia, Dr. Vahram Nercissiantz, the Chief Advisor to the President, Hon. Tigran Sargsyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia.

 

Our delegation had meetings with Ministers representing different fields: Economy, Finance, State Revenue, Protection of Nature and etc.

Les Grands Explorateurs", a Montreal-based private, education oriented company, widely known for 36 years for its series of high quality presentations on various countries and cultures of the world, has included in its current season a ciné-conference (a public lecture and a video film) about Armenia and its ancient culture. The presentation, produced by Marie Dominique Massol, will tour major Quebec cities from January 5 to March 7. It is expected that during the current season some 400 thousand spectators in 48 cities will attend presentations organized by "Les Grands Explorateurs". .
